Die MQ Sommerbühne bietet anlässlich des #PrideMonth queeren Künstler:innen aus Wien einen öffentlichen Raum, sich künstlerisch Performances, Drag- und Voguing-Shows auszudrücken.
Kuratiert wird die 𝗠𝗤 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 von dem in Wien lebenden US-amerikanischen Künstler 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹, der zugleich mit einer Fotoinstallation auf dem MQ Vorplatz vertreten ist, die Queerness und das Selbstverständnis von queeren Künstler:innen thematisiert. Unter den Porträtierten sind 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶, die die MQ Pride Night gemeinsam mit Daniel Hill moderieren wird sowie 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽, die den Abend mit einer Performance startet.
Gefolgt von einer weiteren Solo-Performance der Künstler:in 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶. Das Queer Art Collective 𝗛𝗮𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗵 inszeniert Drag-Shows. In der Tradition des Ballrooms aus dem New Yorker Stadtteil Harlem präsentiert das Voguing Collective 𝗞𝗶𝗸𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲 eine Tanzchoreografie. Den Abschluss der MQ Pride Night bildet ein Live-DJ-Set des Duos 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗼, bestehend aus Mzamo Nondlwana und Pêdra Costa, die ebenfalls von Daniel Hill porträtiert wurde. Sie spielen Tracks von BIPoC (Schwarze, Indigene & People of Color) mit Fokus auf Frauen, Trans und queeren Künstler:innen.
Für erfrischende Abkühlung während der MQ Pride Night sorgt 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗱𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿 mit ihrer Pride-Edition. Der Reinerlös der Flaschen geht direkt an die Homosexuelle Initiative (HOSI) Wien.

On the occasion of #PrideMonth, the MQ Summer Stage offers queer artists from Vienna a public space to express themselves through artistic performances, drag and voguing shows.
The 𝗠𝗤 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 is curated by the Vienna-based American artist 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹, who is also represented with a photo installation on the MQ forecourt, which addresses queerness and the self-image of queer artists: The subject is queerness and the self-image of queer artists. Among those portrayed are 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶, who will host the MQ Pride Night together with Daniel Hill, and 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽, who will start the evening with a performance.
Followed by another solo performance by the artists:in 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶. The Queer Art Collective 𝗛𝗮𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗵 stages drag shows. In the tradition of the ballroom from New York’s Harlem district, the Voguing Collective 𝗞𝗶𝗸𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲 will present a dance choreography. The MQ Pride Night will close with a live DJ set by the duo 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗼, consisting of Mzamo Nondlwana and Pêdra Costa, who was also portrayed by Daniel Hill. They play tracks by BIPoC (Black, Indigenous & People of Colour) with a focus on women, trans and queer artists.
For refreshing cooling during the MQ Pride Night provides 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗱𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿 with their Pride-Edition. The net proceeds of the bottles go directly to the Homosexuelle Initiative (HOSI) Vienna.
