Magdalena Wawra has been intensively engaged in songwriting since her first two releases „Dafür fühlt es sich zu echt an“ and „Zusammen allein“ and has now set herself the challenge of releasing a new song every six weeks over the next twelve months.
Magdalena sings about life in all its ambiguity. She breaks through smooth pop songs with her raw vocal quality. Contradictions and contrasts meet in lyrics and music and find themselves in an intersection that sounds like modern indie pop. The rousing performance of the Viennese singer lends authenticity to her music, reminiscent of AnnenMayKantereit, Wanda or Faber.
The uniqueness of her music results from the often very personal examination of her surrounding and inner world. Magdalena Wawra always proves a fine sense of irony and opposites, best heard in her new single „Keinen Interessierts“.
